This is the fastest zero-cost path. Prefer another provider? Any major key works, the steps below just use Gemini because it's free. Check the data-use terms first: Google's free tier may retain and use your content to improve its products, and the paid tier does not. Whichever provider you pick, your résumé and job content goes to it under your own account and its terms.
Open Google AI Studio & sign in
Head to AI Studio and sign in with any Google account.
Click “Create API key”
Name the key and pick a project. The free tier needs no billing details at all.
Copy the key
Open the key's details and copy it straight to your clipboard.
